Zoi Michalopoulou, LL.M. is Doctoral Candidate at the Center for Transnational IP, Media and Technology Law and Policy at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany. She is writing her dissertation with the working title Exhaustion of copyright in the digital environment? The legal situation de lege lata and de lege ferenda in German and EU law in comparison with US law. Zoi furthermore leads negotiation and drafting workshops of the annual program International IP Transactions at Bucerius Law School. She holds an LL.M. degree from the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich. Zoi is qualified as a German attorney-at-law (Rechtsanwältin) at the Berlin Bar Association, in addition as a Greek attorney-at-law (Dikigoros) at the Athens Bar Association. She has particular expertise in licensing, unfair competition, copyright and trademark matters. She is business fluent in German, English and Greek.
