Prof.Dr. Vidya Kumari had the privilege to introduce Intellectual Property Rights as a core subject in the field of Law, Engineering and Science in the Osmania University, Hyderabad. The theme of the Paper to be presented in this Annual Conference is a continuation of her presentation in an Inter-Regional Seminar conducted by WIPO in its HQ Geneva years back.

The clash between the manufacturers and the consumers of medicines still remains unresolved .It is a sensitive issue that involves the survival of humankind. The valuable strides in the health sector is in vain when the cure is neither accessible, available and affordable by the needy.

Prof.Vidya has in her capacity as the Dean, Head of the Department of Law and as Principal of the Post Graduate College of Law in Osmania University spread the message of the potency of Intellectual Property in the area of Health, education and information. She presented Papers within and outside India.

As a member of ATRIP she gained valuable insights on the intricate nuances of the Intellectual Property Regime.
