Dana Beldiman, Bucerius Law School, Germany and UC Hastings Law School, USA

Professor Dr. Dana Beldiman is the Academic Director of the Centre for Transnational IP, Media and Technology Law and Policy and Professor at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg. She also serves as a Professor in Residence at UC Hastings in San Francisco, co-director of the Bucerius/UC Hastings Summer Program in International IP Transactions, and a partner at Squire Patton Boggs, San Francisco.  Her teaching and research are focused on international, comparative and policy aspects of IP, as well as issues confronting trademark, design and licensing law in a globalised economy. She is the author of  numerous publications (most recently, a book on design law and spare parts) and is active in a variety of organizations. She has also  taught at the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI), the Santa Clara University School of Law, the Riga Graduate School of Law, Humboldt University of Berlin and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her practice encompasses a wide area of IP matters, involving a variety of industries.
